Our Wedding

Our story began as college friends during undergrad at Purdue University. Nate and Olivia became close friends during sophomore year when Nate's fraternity house and Olivia's sorority house shared a parking lot! Nate and Olivia started dating in 2021 and made the most of senior year at Purdue - enjoying Purdue sports, playing intramural basketball together, making many trips to Harry's, and having countless study dates. After graduation, Nate's job took him to St. Louis and Olivia moved to Nashville to begin her nursing career. We proved it true that distance makes the heart grow fonder! After 2 years of many visits and trips to travel to new places, Nate and Liv closed the distance and made the move to make Chicago our new home. We now love the home we have built together and enjoy trying new restaurants, running the lakefront path together, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to grow in our community. We cannot wait for our future together and are so excited to celebrate with you!

There are two major airports located close to the venue: - Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) : 19 miles away- O'Hare International Airport (ORD) : 16 miles away We recommend using rideshare (Uber or Lyft) or a car rental service! There is a hotel parking lot at Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort that is free of cost.

Travel

For the shoppers (and foodies)! The shopping center has shops, restaurants, and coffee shops and is a 5-minute drive from Hilton Oak Brook Hills. Some fun recs are Pinstripes Bowling, Games, &amp; Food, Puttshack for mini golf, and RH Rooftop Restaurant!

For the animal lovers! Only a 15-minute drive from Hilton Oak Brook Hills!

For the nature lovers! This botanical garden is a 15-minute drive from Hilton Oak Brook Hills!

For foodies and friends! Cute market with 3 cafes - a good place to have a coffee or drink! About a 5 minute drive from hotel :)

For our outdoor enthusiasts! There is a walking path, playgrounds, and a splash pad. About a 5 minute drive from hotel!

THINGS TO DO IN CHICAGO! If you're planning to visit Chicago, be sure to visit the Choose Chicago website! There are great recommendations for things to do in our lovely city. Here are some of our favorite spots: - Chicago Architecture Tour (on a boat and great city views!)- Walk or grab a bite/drink along the RiverWalk- Shopping on Magnificent Mile- Visit Wrigley Field (unfortunately, Cubs are away on our wedding weekend, but it is an iconic place to visit!)- Walk/run/rent bikes along the Lakefront Path (our personal favorite thing to do!) There are endless amazing restaurants and bars to try out! Please hit us up for recommendations :)
